Too much
Whiskey put me on
death's
door
learned a lot and has my
most respect.
Have you ever had a
near-death experience?
Once too much
whiskey put me on death's
door, too close for com.
fort-heart stopped, stom-
ach pumped, basically too
much shit to get into.
Now I mostly just drink
lager and wine
What do you get into
these days?
Me and my brother
Launch to frontside wedge-ride
at Radlands back in jolly old
England. Ogden.
After this 360 flip to fakie at
Crocker Amazon skatepark, the
skies of San Francisco soaked the
surface of this bank until it eventu-
ally became the consistency of cold
porridge. Morford.
Cold and grey dominate England
in wintertime. Carl could see
his breath when he caught this
alley-oop frontside flip in
Wakefield. Ogden.
Lee just got back from San Francisco, we were
there for two weeks, and it was shitloads of fun,
getting into all kinds of crazy shit. But I'm glad it
was only a short stay, because I miss Katrina and
the little kids too much, they keep me sane.
Why aren't you in the states anymore?
It seemed like I was never away from there at
one time, but when I was sent back from Vancouver,
things got pretty fucked up after the bullshit. Life just
went down the drain. It seemed like I missed a
year somewhere, with all the drinking and shit. I still
see people who live near who come up to me say-
ing. "Remember when you did this or that?" And I
just think, "What the fuck are you talking about?"
But then again it must have been fun, or I wouldn't
have done it. But now I'm going to and from
America whenever, really, it's a lot better that way. I
get to spend a lot more time with Katrina and the
kids. One's 5, that's Jake, and Derrian's 1 1/2. they
just make everything complete.
What happened when you
got sent back from Canada?
They let me in easy, it
was just on the way back to San
Francisco they got me, bastards. I said to immigra-
tion that I just went for a holiday and to watch the
competition, because I had no Visa, but they just had
it set in their minds that I was working there, even
though they couldn't prove it, so I had to go back
to England. I had to wait 8 hours, so Tom Boyle and
I just spent those hours in the bar. I had no money.
and he bought my beers. I just remember stum-
bling to the plane, then waking up in England.
