First off. I want to give you guys props
for putting out the best skate mag around
Thrasher couldn't be better, but you
continue to prove me wrong by coming
out with brand new shit every month.
Now that I've sucked your dicks, I'll get to
the point ESPN's "Extreme" Games have
brought my attention to the television for
the second time, because it features one
of the only, and certainly the most publi-
cized, skateboard contests on TV. I'm
writing you because you printed ant
advertisement for it in your July '96 issue
If any of you "extreme" motherfuckers at
ESPN are reading this, listen up. I com-
mend you for trying to promote rad
sports, however, I have some com-
plaints. How are you going to have two
"extremely" busted commentators who
spill bullshit about every sport as if they
were the same? Talkin' about. "He was
cleaner than the health department."
John Madden doesn't try to be a com-
mentator at a soccer game, does he? No.
Ditch those fools and get someone who
knows what the fuck they're talking
about. Also, Tony Hawk rips, but he's the
only skater that you ever mention. You
never give props to anyone else who
comes to skate at your "Extreme" Games
Once again, hiring people who know
what's up would ameliorate your
"extreme" problems. Enough
bullshit. One love.

I live in Portland, OR, and go
to Burnside skatepark almost
on a daily basis. I don't skate.
but I go to watch and take pic-
tures. I really appreciated your
article on Burnside and Red. Ive
never met Red, but I've seen him skate.
and he's a great skater. There are also
many other great skaters who skate
Burnside who deserve recognition. Mikey
Chin is one of them. He's just a little kid.
and he is a lot better than some of the
20-year-olds who skate there. He rides
bella smooth and hella fat and be works
at it. I'd love to see something about
Mikey in Thrasher someday.
