SORRY Plan B
Mail Drop clo Thrasher,
I am writing this letter in regards to
the Consolidated ad in your October 196
issue. The letter printed in the ad was meant
as a rebuttal to the August 196 Consolidated
ad bashing the Industry Conference in Cabo
San Lucas. I wrote this letter as a former Plan
B employee who attended the conference.
The letter was written as a personal opinion,
therefore the letter printed and the viewpoints
expressed in no way represent the opinions of
anyone employed by Plan B skateboards (e-
team members, management, staff, etc.)
It's unfortunate that when Conso
lidated found out where the letter came from,
they decided to address the ad towards Plan

We got a copy of the letter you sent to THRASHER Mail Drop
clearing PLAN B, and once again do we feel stupid! If we'd known the
letter writer was the TYPE A Snowboards Team Manager, who had a
"summer job" at PLAN B, we probably wouldn't have second guessed
your judgement of us. After all, just because TYPE A Snowboards and
PLAN B Skateboards are in the same building and share a lot of the
same resources, they have nothing to do with each other, right? It's a
good thing we had a SNOWBOARD TEAM MANAGER at the skate-
B. Obviously, Plan B Skateboards didn't write board industry meeting looking out for our best interests. We can sleep
the letter, only one person who felt strongly
enough to say something (even if it was
anonymous and half serious). The fact that
Plan B was held responsible is my greatest
concem. Because they are not.

Thanks Mat, and our deepest apologies to PLAN B, which actually
leaves us in kind of a tight spot. Without Plan B's guidance, what are
we going to do about an image? Oh well, we've got a whole month, we
can probably come up with something.
