I got some new Sims
Snakes and to be honest,
these wheels suck. I'm
talking slow, heavy, and
they felt like they were
made out of chalk. I was
UNDERHILL
stoked to hear that they
were going to make them
again (at one time they
were the best) and felt sure
that they would be of the
same quality. How wrong
I was. Sims Snake: 61 by
39.5 at 98A.

Last month's column
featured the Magnusson
deck from H-Street.
Well, this month I will let
you know about the
H-street El Gato "Pool"
model. While it may
seem funny to have a
deck called a pool
model, nonetheless it is
a quality skate. This
board has medium con-
cave and a smooth up-
turned nose, but the
thing I liked most about
it was the whopper
tail-fat with just the
right amount of tri-tail.
Makes my foot happy
just thinking about it.
Eddie's plank adds up
to 312" long, 10" wide,
with 44" of nose, a
6½" tail and, you
guessed it, a 15½"
wheelbase.
Update on the Rector line:
They make many pads and
the Fat Boys are too expen-
if
sive they make some that
aren't as big but still have the
same Rector quality. Well,
back to work, kids. Adios.
