TRICK TIP
50/50 SWITCHFOOT

1-2. Start out in a tail stall wheelie
position. With your hand throw the
nose of the board up and into an abrupt
pivot on the tail, as it becomes vertical,
while you jump up onto the back truck.
The board turns but the body stays the
same.
3. Balance in this position for a moment,
being careful that the tail doesn't slide
out from under you. Your body should
be at an even balance over the board.
4. Now, switch your foot positioning so
that you land back on the truck with the
foot you originally started from. Always
use the free leg and arm for balancing
leverage. Balance there for a split-sec-
ond.
5. With your occupied hand, flip the board
forward from the nose into a standard
finger flip as you unweight by jumping
off the back truck. Prepare to land.
6. The board does all of the moving (1%
flips) while the body stays in basically
the same parameters.
7. Land solidly with both feet and you are
ready for the next move.
