riding every day.
I swear, this pool must be the tightest
pool in the word with three feet of vertical
(big coping). Whoever made this thing
must have been on ludes.
If anyone wants to come out here, we
will session at "Country Surfin'," a great
park for slides and ollie skaters with the
toilet bowl.

I just had to write and tell everybody
where some very hot skate action is
happening. It's at 125th St. in Ocean City.
Maryland. It is a 16 foot wide by 11 foot
high fiberglass halfpipe with 10 feet of flat
and a channel for doing airs over. It has a
very smooth, gradual transition. The
halfpipe is from an out of business
skatepark which dumped it in a vacant lot.
Another advantage is that the police never
give you any trouble about riding it. The
only letdown is the BMX'ers that intention-
ally kick sand on it (it can be easily
removed with a broom). So if you're in the
area, make it a point to stop by and skate.
It always awaits a radical session.
TOKE TEAM UPDATE

Just thought we'd write in to keep you in
touch with our area. There was just a
contest in Ocean City and over 100 people
showed up. Bob Blair and David Tobin of
the Toke Team cleaned up in their age
groups in verticle and bowl freestyle.
Veteran pros Josh Marlow and Mark "ONE
TIME Hordeman blazed higher B-side air
than anyone while park attendant Mark
Emond raged insanely with high speed
layback ollies all over the Ocean Bowl. Ted
and Tony Albano, Pete Wergen and Doug
Mayer came from Md. and Pa. to session
with the locals.
The Tokers were recently back from the
summer nationals at Kona where John
Aires (1st) and David Tobin (5th) placed in
the unsponsored division. Sleeping under
the Kona ramp was cheaper than the
Holiday Inn.
The big news is that the notorious
Annandale, Va., ramp has just been
relocated. It's bigger than Kona, and some
of the pros could probably get 7-8 foot air
there.

P.S. Barry's dog, Sio, wasn't dosed with
'cid, he ate hash.
P.P.S. Buck Smith told us to buy him beer,
so we got him Schlitz Malt. He passed out
and we marking-penned the helpless
young boy.
