Karma dodges darkness and 2X4's

skatepark with no lights.
STICKERS?
Yeah. I have stickers, but do you have to hang out in
front of the hotel? It really was amazing to see how
many skate rats there were in the form of small
Mexican hooligans armed with chipped-up boards.
They were hungry, literally. When I handed out stickers
they grabbed at them like starving children. It became
a ritual, as if my description had been given out to all
the young shredders in Mazatlan. Every kid started
spewing out Spanish words, expecting me to under-
stand while they held their hands out for stickers. At
the end of the week I defeatedly belted out "No mas."
Steve Nesser claimed this set from the first day... and on the last day he took it. 180 down the street.

What set you claim? Clint Peterson bridges
the gap while the locals flash signs.
PACIFICO
Before I left for Mazatlan, everyone back home was warning me not to
drink the water. OK, so Pacifico beer became the liquid of choice. People
drink beer in Mexico more than water. I saw the same four dudes drink-
ing Pacifico with napkins around the bottle everyday in the restaurant
below the hotel. It's cheap, too; only 75 cents a bottle. And you get 25
cents in exchange when you take it back in.
