Ryo pivots at his home park.
Demoing was done and Crazy Eddie was on a
plane back home, but we still had a few more days.
It was time for the tattoo convention; I don't know
anything about tattoos, but I know a gnarly one
when I see it. Horioshi tattooed Luis while we
were in Yokohama in his studio. It was crazy-he
just scribbled it on his arm. Afterward he took us
out to some crazy restaurant where there is your
Luis steamrolls through a bumpy 50-50.
"I POUND OUT LATER THAT WE HAD CATEN
LIVER, COW STOMACH, AND PIC'S PEET"
own barbecue pit on your table and you cook your
own meat. I found out later that we had eaten
liver, cow stomach, and pig's feet. You guessed it:
holy shito.
There was one day left and we used it to go skate
around the streets after going to some strange
skatepark that Ryo took us to. It was fun and we
skated some cool stuff, but all in all we were beat.
Luis wanted to stay because he wanted to marry
every girl he saw. Touchy creepy. It was time to head
back, so after another crazy night of food courtesy of
Suguru, it was time to get back on the plane. Thanks
to Suguru and Effort skate shop for hooking us up
big, Ryo for translations, Horioshi for his dinner,
and Taki at Room 21 for the opportunity. Oh yeah,
we took off from Japan at five in the evening on
Wednesday and arrived at 10:30 in the morning on
Wednesday in America. Holy shito.
Suguru's ramp.
