            123. Tricks for
Money
You can see #115 coming, and then it's either time to bear
down or bust out. You have a trick you are coming close' to but
need a little more incentive to land it. You start calling it out to
everyone who is telling you to do it. "How much on this try?"
you ask. People start throwing a couple dollars here, a couple
there, and pretty soon there is a good amount going, so you
I have to do it.
Jimmy Moore pulled a frontside invert for 15 bucks. Darren
had a total of 45 bucks going for a kickflip fakie and $20 on a
handrail, but he didn't pull 'em. Tricks for money is a good thing.

115. Run
Out of
Money
This happens when #101 goes
on too often. Every day is a good
day, so you just keep going with
the flow. It is bound to happen and
usually happens to me because I
start the trip without enough
money to get me through the trip.
When you do run out, it is time to
take on mooch mode. It sucks, but
you have to. Just wait for your
partners to finish their meals and
swampdog the remains.
121. Handrails
Yep, Navarrette grided one. The only one on the
trip. The Vampire skates handrails.

151. Exhaustion
It is over. You are burnt. The van smells, you
smell, and you can't mooch any longer. Time to
head home.
Our trip lasted a total of 12 days. Every day was
a new adventure, and that is why you go on road
trips. At times, you are miserable wondering what
the hell you're doing, but that feeling goes away,
and when you get home you want to go back out
there again. It is a neverending saga with the road,
and I hope it never goes away. Get yours.

130. Departures
There comes the time for your compadres to head back to
their lives at home, and for the ones who can to keep going.
Colby, Ben, Rookie, and Jimmy called it quits after a week and a
half, and Wez and Cody pushed on up to Seattle to watch
Motörhead. We will meet again.
