FCUALL
THE
COPS
A cop pulls up and throws us against
a wall
He calls us criminals then says we
should die
He nearly explodes when I ask
him why
Then he calls it just a stupid game
My friends just laugh and call
him lame
He wrote us all tickets costing over
a ton
Then started smiling like he had won
He doesn't know that skating's an art
After all, he is a fat fart
He won't admit that skating's a sport
He just wants us all to go to court
Out of all this we've felt no sorrow
They think they've won, but we'll be
back tomorrow.
LOST SON
Brian Robinson
Santa Ana, CA
Kinsman, Ohio is a very small
town. Therefore, everyone knows
everyone else. The Badger High.
School is no exception. Six days ago,
our skate clique lost a dear friend to
a fatal car accident. Michael A Vitello
I was the best skater we knew, and
since he left, our lives have dramati-
cally changed. Mike was a member of
our local indoor skateboard arena,
Barley's Section 8, nearly an hour
away. Every day that he could, we
would see him skating in parking lots
pulling off tricks and jumps we could
only dream of. He was the most tal-
ented and dedicated skater I knew.
For his life to be cut short at the age
of 17 was wrong, because we all
knew he was destined to be big. The
day of his funeral, our school had
something like six out of 24 students
in each of our classes. Everyone who

knew him liked him. Mike will be
remembered by all who knew him.
His passing is totally worthy of men-
tion and remembrance by Thrasher.
Peace and love to Mike's family,
Zach, Mike M, and Luke.
Never forget.

I go to Molasky Junior High in Las
Vegas, NV. In my English class, we
are learning how to write a business
letter. We have to write to a store,
restaurant, magazine, etc. that we
appreciate. I chose to write your
magazine! When I wasn't good at
skating, your magazine inspired me
to keep on trying. I just wanted to
say that if it weren't for your maga-
zine, I would've quit before I could
ollie up the curb. Now, after six
months of pure skating, I'm glad I
didn't quit. So I just wanted to say
thanks and keep skating.
Me too. T-ed

You guys put out a great magazine.
I mainly just look at the pictures, but
after I've looked over them about five
hundred times, I read the articles. I
would like to see more pictures and
possibly an interview of the best
skater of all time, Chad Muska. I'm
not into all this hip-hop crap like he is,
but he has great style and can skate
on anything.
Of all time? T-ed
