Ocean Beach, Ca
74 THRASHER
Left: Al Partanen flies the fish, flaps the
flair. Top: Crazy-ass Oscar Jordan
pops big hardflips despite the pressures
of trying to maintain in a racist skate-
board industry. Below: Eddy Alioto
rides the park like he's on a motorcycle.
Everywhere else: They're
overviews, stupid.
Where: San Diego's hesh Ocean Beach area.

ented with proper coping, real trannies, square and
round hips of various angles and heights, bowls, spines,
pyramids, extensions, bumps, banks, volcanos, taco
bell tombstones, ledges, bumps to flat bars, kiddie area.
Good: Yes. Skateboarders only.
Bad: Full Ipads, supervised, costs $, kiddie area a
little retarded.
Not So Bad: Only $30 for a whole year,
fee keeps out Ocean Beach's large
scratcher population, you might need the
pads when the place gets packed.
Locals: Hesh Crew, Osiris locs, longboard
Larrys, tech dogs, slashers, chicks, surf
bros, mini-ramp champs, dudes named
Brody, pool punishers, and pretty much
everyone else.
Mullet Factor: Primus cuts and bleached
rat tails.
Conversation Starters: "How long is
that Sector, bro?" "I heard Macdonald
skates here."
Overall: 7 out of 10.
