T is known in the skate-
board world as one of the
greatest comebacks in
modern sports. I, Keith
Jackson, have been looking into.
the strange case of Mr. Mitch
Frydrich. Almost three years ago
this young product came out of
nowhere to bust in the skateboard
scene. He was raised from birth in
a secret underground skate facility
known as The Lair. He shocked the
skate world with his almost other-
worldly board control, but the
tremendous pressure of the indus-
try started to wear him down. After
skating by himself his entire life,
being a pro skater was over-
whelming and spiritually unful-
filling. Soon afterwards, he hurt
himself on a kick flip frontside
noseslide down a double-kink,
and he's been out of commission
ever since, but as you can see.
from these photos, Mitch is back
to lay claim to the throne that is
his and his alone.
