ago when I broke up with my girl-
friend and was finally free. So I've
taken the advice of Donny Barley
from Thrasher's July interview and
started concentrating more on my
skating. Of course there are many
stupid assholes who make fun of
me because they skate better. So. I
thought I'd be February '99's Poser
of the Month just to prove what a
big joke it was. Yeah, I suck. But I
don't skate to be better than any-
one else or to get sponsored; I
skate for fun. I used to hate the
skatepark because I didn't know
how to skate transition and little.
kids would show me up. Whenever
my friends went to the park, I
would puss out. But one day some-
body tricked me into going to the
park, then ditched me, and I skated
for three hours that day. Now I love
the park; I go every night. Since I
started skating the park, my street
skating has improved greatly. I've
learned about four new tricks
already in the past four weeks, and
I couldn't even ollie until I was 19."
I probably would've quit a long
time ago if it weren't for Thrasher,
Skeeno skate shop, Collin Sick,
HCSA, Slayer, and Satan. These
people have given me the confi-
dence and determination I needed
to better myself and my skating.
Fuck anyone who talks about who
sucks. Who sucks? The cops, Reno
straight edge, and paying bills.
Also, this rap music all sucks.
Heavy metal is the only true music.

Yo, first off, your mag kicks ass
but one thing is missing. Where the
hell is Andy Macdonald?
Somebody needs to hook me up
and do an article on him and get
some pics 'cause I think he kicks
ass just like your mag does. Please
do an article on him. I guarantee
people will be pleased.

pleased to finally see the new
Muska shoe advertised. And let
me just say the shoe is bad-ass-
definitely worth the wait. My only
complaint, though, is this: with all
the attention paid to detail in the
ad, there was one thing that both
ered me. What's up with the key
If they really wanted realism in
their ad, shouldn't they have used
a dime bag instead? Just curious.

Remembering you when
You were here,
Still can't believe you're gone.
So full of life, so young at heart,
Everything just seems so wrong.
You made so many people smile,
We'd all just watch you shine.
I looked up to you in many ways,
So many memories come to mind.
Remembering you when
You were here,
Maybe our paths will cross again,
You'll always be inside our hearts,
Because you never really lose a
friend.
