it is always good to look at the
things that are readily available to you, gauge what will
rock and what will suck, and go for the goods. When
information about MTV's third annual Sports and
Music Festival flopped onto my desk about a month
ago, we made some calls and presto! We were on our
way to Las Vegas, where there would be a monster
ramp, invited champions of the vertical plane, some
cheese music, a Tyson fight, and Danny Way was gonna
drop out of a helicopter. What? Are you crazy? We're
