What the fuck is up? I'm just sitting
in jail. Christmastime is when I'll be
getting out. I can't skate for so long.
It fuckin' sucks. All my boys are out
skating while I'm here. All I do is sit,
play cards with my dude Johnny, and
look at Thrasher all day. The June
issue #221 is dope as fuck. I like your
mag. It has a sufficient amount of
writing as it does pictures and ads.
I've been getting your magazine since
1992. I've been skating for six years,
and I was gonna make videos this
summer but I can't 'cause I'm in jail.
I swear that I have never hated any-
thing more than not being able to
skate. It has grown with me and is
something I love and have to do.
When I get out, I'm going skating at
this place called Changaworld, which
is a huge in-
door skate
place by me.
Ya know,

and others' claims of "coolness."
What is cool? What is weird? Who
decides? It is difficult for me to grasp
the idea of trends-why be exactly
like your neighbor? Why not make
the world more fun and more difficult
for business tycoons? One may
argue: "How do you know people
aren't doing what they enjoy and fol-
lowing the crowd?" If people were
actually being themselves, would
there be ever-changing trends? I am
a former skateboarder, yet I continue
to read Thrasher. I can guarantee that
half of the "true skaters" who mail
you saying "cops, posers, and
rollerbladers suck" have probably no
experience with any of the previously
mentioned. Once again, the evil of
conformity is evident in the fact that
skateboarders feel the need to be as-

ents who write to your mag, and fuck
the pussies who can't handle flying
down a hill with hair flying, tears
coming from the side of your eyes,
cheek-numbing, falling on your face,
and never skating again. You gotta
