Left to right: TNT has
been a fixture at Sally
Rosa since day one. Check this heavin'
frontside over the hip into the dip.
Lines at Santa Rosa come when you
least expect them. TT blisters a
noseblunt slide transfer at the bot-
tom of the park.
B
rian Anderson: What
grade are you in?
Tony Trujillo: Tenth grade.
BA: What are you going
to do after school?
Kill JR Neves.
BA: Do you like school?
No. It's a waste of time.
Mic-E Reyes: Does school like you?
I guess not.
MR: What do you think of the
Trench Coat Mafia and what
they did?
They were just backing their shit up.
It was a fucked up thing to do, but I
heard some interviews and people said
they had told those kids to wash their
hair, and that they were just hessians,
and some other fucked up shit like that.
MR: So you think they got heckled
into doing what they did?
What do you mean?
MR: Do you think people
treated them so badly that
that was the only thing they
had left to do?
Maybe. It seemed like it was just
for revenge, because they were
laughing when they came in.
MR: How old are you, Tony?
Sixteen.
MR: Who do you skate for?
Anti-hero, Spitfire, Indy,
and Vans.
MR: Where are you from?
Near Santa Rosa, California.
MR: Is that where you grew
up skating?
Yeah, the skatepark there.
MR: Did you just skate
that park growing up?
Transitions basically.
Dustin Dollin: Didn't you
think you were the Muska
before you skated for
Anti-hero?
No. I used to have a Muska
beanie though.
MR: But you're a true hessian?
Yeah.
DD: Are you a virgin?
Negative.
MR: On your first tour with
Deluxe, were you a virgin?
Yeah.
Salman Agah: What's it like
being a pro skateboarder at
your age?
I don't know what being a pro
skater when you're older is, so I
can't really say.
SA: Well, usually pros are
a little older, so you're
somewhat special. Do
you feel like you've
accomplished something?
Not really. I haven't done any-
thing. I just skate.
SA: Is being a pro skater a
dream come true for you,
or is it just something
that happened?
It just happened. If
I weren't pro now but
I was in two years, it
might feel like I'd
accomplished some-
thing. But I got picked
up so early.
SA: So when you
got sponsored you
weren't even
really aware of
what it means to
be sponsored.
Yeah. I mean, I got
free boards and then
wheels and stuff, but I
didn't really think any-
thing of it.
SA: Do you think
your life has
changed at all as a
result of being
in that position?
I guess,
because I don't
I have to worry
about having a
good board. Or
if my friend's
board is broken,
then I can give
him an extra. It
just makes it
easier on me
and my friends.
