who has recently entered our industry.
"They have?" you might ask.
"I've never seen K2TM skateboards, shoes, or wheels!"
Well, that's because being a snow ski & inline skate
company, they probably didn't want to use their name in
the skateboard industry. So they bought existing companies
or started new ones under a different name
like Planet EarthTM and Adio Shoes™.
They do it in other board sports too! Sound like a smart
business move? Their investors seem to think so.
We got their 1997 Annual Report, and you can too! It shows
all the neat stuff they own and there's even a really cool
photo of the President/CEO and the Senior VP of Finance.
