is surprising that more pros weren't champing at the bit
to get involved in the Vans Hard Rock Café Triple
Crown series. Because basically, the series, which is
going on its third year, is a gold mine-$15,000 for first
place! With that kind of cash,
you'd figure even dudes with
shoe deals would be in there.

Those not afraid of the green convened in
Huntington Beach, in a parking lot on the
actual beach, where the final event took place
over three days.
Streetstyle was wisely added to the card
this year, and although the Ramptech crew
is the finest bunch in existence, the course
followed the traditionally vert-oriented
model that has baffled true street skaters.
