U
ntil recently, spots for skateboarding in the NWUS have been few and far between. It's
still pretty hard work being a dedicated skateboarder in the upper left hand corner of
the country. Between the weather and the lack of development, it can be a real hassle
to get your licks in when you need to. Streetskating without soft wheels is a battle that not
many can win. The few smooth developed areas are usually a bust, and a lot of the roads are
rough from the weather and cars with snowtires. I have much respect for the streetskaters
who keep it going up here.
