LOOKING UP
I am a mother of two children, a
daughter age 7 and a son age 14. I
just finished reading the letter from
Diana, the Moon Goddess, in South
Bend, Indiana. Since you feel it's OK
to print such garbage and trash for
kids to read, you must live your life in
the same manner! As for the girl and
her friends, they are still on the
streets running free? What are the
police doing about this? Are they
involved too? Get a grip! You mean
to tell me you feel this girl should be
on the loose? What's your opinion?
I'm asking God. You people are sick
and need severe help

SKID MARKS
This is a totally bad burn-out by
my friend, Zac. He had road rash for
weeks after
it. He was
standing on
two skates
being
pulled by a
bike down a
hill. It was fucking bad ass. Zac was
starting to get bad speed wobbles,
and my friend on the bike, Brian,
sped up. Zac wiped out, and me and
Matt, not in the pic, were laughing so
hard. One of the skateboards was an
off-road board that Zac rode through
losers' yards. It was awesome. We
just want you to put our pic in your
mag. Also, could you send us some
stickers or patches or something?
That would be cool. You guys kick
ass. Keep skating and rock on.

FOGGY NIGHT

In the December issue, there was
a letter entitled "Dad's Son," con-
cerning the use of vulgar language.
in your magazine. Swearing is
something that is heard everyday
and should not disgust you unless it
is directed at you. There was no
need for that letter to be printed.
Thrasher is one of the few skate-
board magazines that actually sees
through a skater's eyes. It supplies
us with information, pictures, and
interviews that no other skate
magazine has. It also offers articles
about music and other things that
interest the hardcore skater. I feel
that the writer of that letter was
out of line and doesn't understand
the true meaning of what Thrasher
magazine is all about: having a fun
time while skating. If you don't have
fun when you skate, you should just
give it up. Also, if you don't like the
way the magazine is written, go find
a different magazine that's not as
devoted to bringing you what is
really happening in the world of
skating and skate-related stuff.
Thrasher is doing a good job.
