Eternal Nocturnal
All by himself in the middle of the night
The pavement acts tough like it wants to fight
Wheel noise to others may cause some fright
So the law says no, but he knows he's right
Old ladies reach for the phone when they get uptight
But by the time the cops get there, he's out of sight
Out late hours until the dawn daylight
He could be sleeping, but, yeah, he might
He seems all alone and alone tonight
But many brothers are out there, out late at night
In far away places, others skate without light
Somewhere out there is family, and family is tight.
