Images from the dawn of time swirl before your
eyes as you are sucked into the vortex of skate-
boarding's past.
1. Young old man, Ron Allen, did a lot for skate-
boarding. For example, this frontside nosepick in the
gullwing zone at Rockridge BART station in 1990, this
was way rad. Ron, we love you.
2. Alan Petersen, you may know him as the Man in
Black, but before he had "Gimme Danger" tattooed on
his back, he was just another skater slapping stalefish
four feet above the coping in Fresno, 1989.
