NEIL & PIGPEN
Pig and Neil leave to fire up a few 40s.
Where are you from?
Pigpen: I was born in Massachusetts,
moved to Hayward, California, and then
went to Portland five years ago just to
ride Burnside. Everybody was
so cool. I was stoked to stay
there, because nobody gives a
fuck about anything except
skateboarding. They're not all
into the pretty-boy, faggot shit.
Neil: I was born in Newberg,
Oregon. Kind of roaming
around. I'd like to live in
Portland for the skatepark.
How's everything going?
Neil: Cool. Everything with
GRAFFIX is working out good.
It's crazy, a lot of people are
starting to come and skate.
When they get that vert ramp
up, it's going to be nuts. You'll
have some gnarly rippers hanging out-
Why are you Satan's soldier?
Pigpen: Because, man, I have no control
anymore. It started out being fun, and
then it was more fun, and then it started
being even funner. Then it started getting
me in trouble and then more trouble.
tried to fuckin' chill, but I can't. I'm just
saying that sometimes he makes me do
it. Like it came up from hell or something.
Do you hang out with your dad?
Nell: Yeah, my pop's hella sick. Put up
me and Pigpen and just let us rage at his
house. Then we got him evicted, but he's
still just way stoked.
Pigpen: Like father like sons, we all get
nones.
Nell: He likes to drink Thunderbird and
hang out with us.
How about mom?
Neil: My mom's radi

twenty years. I think
that's killer,

Pigpen: Not yet.
Neil: But he's got
Lucifer, though.
Lucifer's a goat?
Pigpen: What did you think, he's red with
horns and shit? For all you know, you
could be looking at him right now.
