I think you guys bash cops too much. Not all cops
suck. Some of them are pretty nice. I bet you guys
like donuts too, especially the ones with frosting, extra
chocolate and the pretty colors. I'm a skater, and I
have never had a cop give me any trouble.

I picked up my copy of the May issue of Thrasher
at the newsstand and am writing to congratulate
you on one of the best ever series of skateboard
photographs I refer to the sequence on pages 64
and 65 in which two skaters, Max Schaaf and Bob
Burnquist, are magnificently projecting the images of
power and grace that characterize professional vert
skateboarding
The fifth frame is rich in the sports symbolism: One
skater soars into the sky with arm extended upward
in triumph, while the other can be seen as a sprint-
er exploding out of the starting blocks onto a track
that extends, not horizontally, but, rather, straight
down. Wow!
