listen. What we do is find places
where cops don't usually go, but if
they catch us, the nice ones take
our boards away, the ass-
holes arrest us. So when
you say that the street
is one of the best
places to skate,
it's not always
true. Keep
making Thrasher
because it is one of
the 5 things in my
life that doesn't suck.

CLOTHES LINE
What the fuck is going
on? Everyone seems to think
they're cool by worshipping
Satin. Nobody knows what the
fuck they're talking about. Any
retard knows that God kicks ass
and anyone who believes different
can bend over and kiss his ass.
Satin is a red assed piece of shit.
Even if you worship Satin, you
should know he sucks, not like
those posers that
are walking around
school saying,
"Satin rules," and
other dumb stuff
like that. The kind
of people that
most skaters hate
are posers and
what they don't
realize is that
they're posers
themselves. So, to
all you Satin worshipping pussies
out there, fuck you!

was so fuckin' punk that I had to
get it. I was scared to death that
one of the other five skaters in
Kansas City would buy it
before me. But I got
lucky. I had saved up
enough for a deck
and some new
Indys, and I
kifed some
old Kryptonics
off that same
spoiled fucker.
Then it happened,
(Thrasher)! All of the
sudden, every spoiled
fucker in the world had a board
again. But at this point I'm living in
Dallas, land of numerous pro
skaters, even more ditches, ramps,
garages and empty pools. So the
80s were a lot of fun. But that
was then... This is now. I'm a
dinosaur at age 26 and I don't
give a fuck. I don't do kickflips or
handrails because my board is too
big and heavy and I still don't give
a fuck. The only thing that sucks
about this new hip hop.
generation of skateboarding is
that everything is so wimpy. I'm
down to my last Duane Peters:
deck, and those little cockrings
I've been wearing Polyester since they call wheels can't replace my

BIG DEAL
The January '96 issue
was a real gem, a virtual stroll
down memory lane. I started
skating in '82 when I weaseled a
Sims Lonny Toft board with Indys
and these huge X-wide Bones
from this spoiled fucker. Well,
when that got ripped off at 7-11,
because I couldn't bring it in with
me to get a Big Gulp, I got one
of those brand spankin' new
Vision decks. That leopard print
dwindling X-wide Bones, and my
rails are better left unmentioned.
So, a word of advice to the new
generation, if you plan on being
around after the trend, stock up
now!
