There's a problem with the parking meters
in San Francisco. Apparently, unscrupulous
types have figured out that pull tabs from
soda cans can be used in the meters in
place of coins. It seems as though these
n'er do wells are pulling the tabs off the
cans, scraping them on the sidewalk until
putting them in the meters to either get
free time or jam them.

between, these vandals are creating
quite a disturbance. As you can imagine, the
Dept. of Parking is in shambles over this fiasco
which most probably signals the decline of
Western Civilization as we know it. It is a well
known, historically documented fact that free
parking inevitably leads to the decay of societal
values, and ultimately, chaos.
