IT ALL STARTED back around
1987 or so in a small boonfuck town
called Enterprise, Alabama. In this
town I learned tic-tacs, early grabs
off launch ramps, rode my first
handrail and got laid for the first
time. I lived there for five years
with roasting rednecks in the
unbearable heat. I think three of
those years I was rolling. There was
nothing to do. It was inevitable that
1 skate. I can remember egging
cars and making napalm in the
street with gasoline and detergent.
My dad was in the Army, so luckily
we moved on to New Hampshire.
Manchester was more like it.
I had never skated around the
streets of a city, really, except for
Montgomery, but this place had
more action. GG Allin was from
there. And this was the place I was
introduced to his music. Lots of
parties, lots of sluts, lots of sex-
this place was rocking. I lived in
Londonderry for two years and had
lots of good experiences. I skated
Boston for the first time and to this
day it remains one of my favorite
