"What's that you're watching there, son?"
"I don't know, pop, I think it's one of your old skate-
board weekend trips. I stayed home from school today
and came across your box of videos."
"Boy, I haven't watched this one in a while. You know,
that was back in '95. A crazy guy named Brewce Martin
built that thing in West Virginia way out in the middle of
nowhere. Yeah, that wasn't just any old weekend trip.
That was a good one. Me and your uncle Al drove out there with anoth-
er fella named Matt. You see that guy right there on the ramp now with
the big puffy beard? That's him. He was something else. He used to
ride these longboards all the time, just cruise around on those things all
over the place. In fact, I don't think he stopped skating that weekend."
"Gosh, dad, you hung out with a crazy bunch of people. Why does
everyone keep screaming when that guy is riding?"
The Chuck Norris of skateboarding, Brewce Martin (right) punches out a big ol'
Andrecht on the King Dong ramp. He built it, so he rips it. Greg Hiller (sequence)
has been skating for a long time and it shows as he grinds a mean stand-up
frontside through the corner of the same swamp frog facility.
