The first day of qualifying went off with ollies over the
pyramid and people flipping the channel in the big bank.
The skaters were basically getting mental all day long.
Chris Senn was doing grind variations atop a desk on
one of the hips that most could only fifty-fifty grind, while
Jamie Thomas took it to tailslide. Karma Tsochell made a
lipslide on the smaller bank-to wall while several people
tall and noseslid it. Paul Sharp was doing the highest,
cleanest pop shove-its on the big bank. Matt Patles flowed
