Pete Love (above) tailslides a part of the city that nobody cares about. A local
named Danny Supasirirat (opposite) is high and mighty on a frontside nose-
slide. Wooden trannies are hard to find in the Big Apple, so when they do
pop up they get beat-such was the case with this nightclub mini-ramp
(opposite bottom) and Scott Schworts's disaster attack. Being named
Red Skull (left) for his resemblance to Captain America's arch-rival
has nothing to do with Frank Notiello's 180' over a garbage can.

sent the fly look. Overall, the information that I have just
stated is, for the most part, true and representational of
the NYC scene; however, this doesn't mean that it
applies to all who skateboard in New York City, so
don't go there thinking that this is how everyone
there is going to be, but being skateboarders, your-
selves, I wouldn't expect you to do so.
Before I end this small article and let the pic-
tures fill in the lines I forgot, I would like to
thank those who helped me (in more ways
than one) to get this thing done. So, big
thanks go to: Peter Bici and the Bici Family,
Jones and Chris Keeffe, Mike Hernandez,
Danny, Gio Estevez, Chappy, Frank Nat-
iello, Scott Schwartz, Harold Hunter,
Jay Maldonado, Vinnie Ponte and
the Ponte family, Dolinsky family,
and all of those who I might have
forgotten-I appreciate it to the
fullest degree.
