1995 READERS' MUSIC POLL
The readers have spoken. The fol-
lowing bands are the runners-up
(in no particular order) of the 1995
Thrasher Readers' Music Poll.
Clockwise from left: Stayin' alive in
95, Fugazi is one band that refuses
to sell-out. D'arcy of The Smashing
Pumpkins spent much of '94 rock-
ing teenage America. Billie Joe.
Armstrong of Green Day (no rela-
tion to Lint Armstrong) actually
won the poll but refused to do
an interview. Oldies but goodies,
Black Flag hangs out in the Henry
Rollins/Dez/Chuck Biscuits era.
The punk invasion is on and Lars
Frederiksen and Rancid are in the
house. Tom Araya of Slayer loves to
kick it at TGI Fridays. A rare shot of
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
showing Ben Carr and the band.
Trent Reznor of Nine-Inch Nails is
fetching in fishnets. Last but certain
ly not least, El Hefe of NOFX rolls
his eyes at all the attention.
