Karma shows up at my pad late.
I pull out every old skate video!

parts I'm in so he knows where he
stands. Then we pack the car. Kar-
ma seems tired, so we hit the hay. I
want him to sleep with me so I can
keep an eye on him. He says no.
Thursday the 27th
We're up and on the road early.
A perfect day for a nice drive at 55
mph down the 101 in a 1950 Chevy.

going. We arrive just after 1:00. The first people
we see are the other half of the Demolition
Crew: Jesse Paez, Richard Paez, Dale Blackman,
Andy Roy, JP, Paul Sharpe, and us, a small militia.
We're all happy friends hanging out, you know,
looking good. So I go to my car to lock it up and
get my board, and I look in, and there's griptape
all over my seat, and my 8-inch buck knife is sit-
ting there, ruined. I'm freaking out, holding it in
the air, yelling, "Who wrecked my knife?!" I'm
thinking, I'm going to gut 'em. And then I see
Jesse Paez walking over, the only person I'll let
off the hook because I'm friends with his mom.
So it's time to skate. The ramp's a little small, but

it's fun and everyone's stoked.
Andy Roy is dismantling

handplants and back-

as Richard's nollies. It's
a good day so far. I'm
done skating. I decide
to get my New York
brim out of the car and
go back to the ramp.
But I've got a weird,
kind of a horny feeling.
then I realize the cops have been following me
everywhere. I'm a little tired of this, so I go up to
them and hand them my ID. They check it, and
I'm free to go. We all go eat at Tortilla Flat's. It
costs so much, we're all broke after the meal.
Cab was even there, but I'm not sure if he had
Caballero's Christmas Classics tape with him.
After eating, we're ready for some nightlife in
SLO. So we ransack some parties with Chris
Pontius in the lead. By the way, that guy rules.
Richard rolls a pumpkin down some stairs, and
the name calling begins, Pretty well burnt out,

Thanks Girl!"
