We drove all night to Boston after that and slept at
Turtles while an old man rode circles around us on a
bike. This park features many good banks, including
a large asphalt loaf with four-foot pipes on top
(Vallely rides it in the old World vid). Tim did fat Indy
fast plants off the pipes and Ron ollied
straight over the top. With the much
appreciated help of Sea Bass, we had a
great time in Cambridge skating Maximus
Park with Dave Rogers and hanging out
around Harvard Square, checking the fine
talents of Jim the Juggler. This guy bust-
ed amazing feats of balance that any
skater could appreciate.
The next stop was New York for two
days on another planet. We spent most of
our time hanging out at the Alleged
Gallery on Ludlowe Street, where Erin, Chris and John Mockus
made our stay most enjoyable. Israel and I went skating with
Ryan Hickey and a bunch of his friends, which was a blast. It was
a challenge just to keep up with these guys on their high speed
charges through the city. Ryan blasted through traffic with no
regard for lights and a little help from passing cars who would try

and shake him off with no luck. Israel fucked it up at the Brooklyn Banks with Ryan, Joaquim,
Mike Cardona and more. Afterwards, we went down the street to a nice little marble area where
Joaquim Cardona did a large kickflip off a
messed up little angle over a marble pillar.
From there, we all jumped the subway gates
and shot the hill for a free ride back to the
gallery. Thanks to everyone for such a fine
time. New York skaters are on fire!
This pretty much finished up our trip with
a long ride home ahead of us. We stopped in
Columbus again on the way home for a last
session at Dodge and another fun night at
Mean Mr Mustard's. Thanks to Molly for all
the hospitality.
We split up with Greg in Kansas and took
the 50 West where a little police harassment
ended things on a sour note in Nevada. I
want to send huge thanks to everyone who
helped us on our trip and especially to
Andrew Falkowski for dealing with all the
hard shit despite the puss oozing from his
pink eyes. Extra thanks to Andy's mom.
