AV: A bunch of people are
doing technical stuff fast and
big, that's cool. I like trying new
tricks at different places.
NS: Snowboarding is going to
get bigger and bigger. I think
anyone starting out should go.

Who do you admire?
AV: In the snow, I like people
who can ride in all conditions,
Michael Hatchett, Tom Burt,
Rocket Reeves, and a few peo-
ple who I ride with in NorCal.
NS: Anyone who isn't pinched
and has an open mind.
Who do you like in music,
new or old?
AV: The Beastie Boys, Tribe
Called Quest, Jimi Hendrix,
everything.
NS: Tribe, De La Soul, Souls of
Mischief, Ozzy, Bad Brains, Led.
Zeppelin, Pharcyde, and Sade
when the ladies are chillin'..
Message to the hungry?
NS: Just enjoy what you do and
don't pay attention to all the
hype and bullshit that is a part
of both of these worlds.
AV: Turn your front foot a little
so you can hang onto that heel,
buddy.
