Toronto, Ontario
Population: 3,666,600
Toronto is a large metropolitan city:
lots of people, lots to do, lots of bad
drivers. If you want to see how big it
really is, you can go to the CNN Tower,
the tallest free-standing structure in
the world. There used to be an indoor
skatepark in Toronto that was proba-
bly one of the best ever made. It's
gone now so you'll have to go street
skating. Look for Trinity Park, located
outside the Eaton Center Shopping
Mall. There is almost always someone
there, ask and ye shall receive.

We put too much time into skating.
We care too much what others may i
think of us. These ingredients lead to
those silent sessions we've had with
strangers. A bad vibe, so to speak.
Saying "Hi" isn't cool anymore. The
kid that asks, "What's up, guys?" is the
kid that knows he sucks and is trying
to make friends. You know you don't
suck, and you want everyone else to
know it as well. Shit, you might not be
the best, but you're damn sure that
you're better than that kid. So don't
say a word, don't even look at him. It's
much easier to take a chance on that
double set, than to, heaven forbid, talk
to a fellow skater,
