E
very high school in America has a
function called homecoming. The
purpose of this annual event is to
promote school spirit, boost finan-
cial support, and mix together a taste of
the old with the flavor of the new. From the
snot-nosed freshmen, to the hairy-chested
seniors, everyone from last-year's grads to
moms and dads get hyped to check out the
action. All the hoopla provides a common
ground for alumni, faculty members, stu-
dents and students-to-be to rally together.
It is every kid's
pro contest, but
to win it in front
of everyone is a
once in a lifetime
