No reason for sluff and fluff, let's get right to it. Milk makes top-notch cues
for a new kid on the block. The pros, Cerda, Chatman and Hosoi, all have
models that are long and thin with even tails and noses. Their wheels had
some problems in the flatspot department, but the shapes and sizes are
right at the top, maybe I got a bad cure. Milk in a nutshell: tuff and ruff...
Fishlips has been around for a long time and have recently resurfaced with
the new Ray Underhill, a bigger board that had the nose bend syndrome
after about a week of riding. The shape was cool and the slick went quick,
so you make the call. After Cara-Beth Burnside left NHS, she started
her own deal and issued her own "Duane" trib-

have started a new company called
Alternate Laboratory. The self-
styled, fuck the hype company has
bad ass riders and stiff slabs. The
tails were kind of steep but I got
used to it. Simple yet functional, they
get the all around thumbs up...

Follow these simple steps to put
together a board and you will be
able to work for minimum wage
at any skateshop in the world.
Start with 1 deck, 2 trucks, 4
wheels, 8 bearings, 8 mounting
bolts and about two-and-a-half
feet of griptape:
1. Peel the griptape and stick it to
the top of the deck. With the palm.
of your hand, press the tape down
evenly so that there are no bub-
bles. Use a fresh blade to cut the
edges. Carefully pull it toward you,
tracing the board as a template to
get an even cut.

A company that has traveled a lot of
miles in their first year of business,
they make everything from wheels
and boards to shorts and hats. Big
bad Bill dropped some logs my way.
I found them hard and heavy but
they will last until the next millen-
nia. The 90-day warranty is option-
al, so pay if you want to play...
Thunder has unleashed the next

called the T4. The yoke has been
re-designed and the lighter plate.

a kill shape make it a winner...

2. Poke holes through the tape
from the bottom. Push the mount-
ing bolts though and attach one
truck at a time. Make sure that
the kingpin and bushings face
the inside.
3. Assemble the nuts and tighten.
Don't crank them too tight, but
tight enough so that bolts don't
stick above the tape
4. Put two bearings on the axle.
Now take a wheel and push with
your palm so that one bearing is in
it's place. Flip the wheel and do it
again on the other side.
5. Put the nut on and tighten. Go
all the way down and then back
off a half turn so that there is a
little bit of play. Now do the
same on the other three.
6. Go outside and
