KICKING AZ
In your March issue, Britton
Wingfield of Phoenix, AZ, went on
about how he got harassed by
some skinheads for wearing
"racism sucks" on his jacket. Does
he mean to tell the whole skate
world that if he and fifty friends saw
one guy wearing a "white power"
shirt, they wouldn't fuck with him? It
you have the balls to tell the world
what you think, have the balls to
fight for it. Sure, racism sucks, but
tell that to those skinheads and
you'll suck fist. Ice-T said it best:
"Freedom of speech, just watch
what you say." If you don't want to
get fucked with, quit your bitching
and get a new jacket.

HARD FOR HEMP
It's time for people to wake-up.
We need to make some changes in
this hypocritical society, and re
legalizing hemp is the first one.
Prior to 1937, hemp (marijuana)
was legal. It was a huge cash crop
used for thousands of things. Now,
after years of misinformation, most
people consider marijuana a highly
dangerous substance that needs to
be eliminated.

NIGHT RIDERS
Remember way back when there
were all those letters from vam-
pires? What happened? Did
Thrasher merely stop printing leg-
endary creature letters or did all the
legendary creatures quit skating?

SCARED STRAIGHT
In the March "Firing Line," Sal-
man Agah described himself as an
"insecure faggot." Is he really a
homosexual, or is he just living up
to his fairy graphics? And if he is a
faggot, does he have AIDS?

MOLDY SKULL
We must recognize that skate-
boarding, like the plague, is a com
municative delirium. That is the
secret of its fascination.
A Philosopher

In the US, 340,000 to 425,000
people die each year from tobacco,
and over 150,000 die each year
from alcohol (not including traffic
deaths). There is not a single docu-
mented case of a person ever And there is no antidote. T-ed
dying from marijuana, even though
people have been using it for thou-
sands of years.
One acre of hemp can yield more
paper than four acres of trees (and
grows back much faster). Hemp
seed oil is cholesterol-free and low
in saturated fat, and hemp seeds
can be made into food. Hemp
plants require no toxic pesticides
as they have few natural enemies.
Marijuana can help end the nausea
experienced by chemotherapy
patients, so they can eat normally
again. Marijuana is used to treat
glaucoma and can reduce muscle
spasms associated with multiple
sclerosis.
These are only a few of the thou-
sands of uses for hemp. For more
