I didn't care if he believed me or not. I had bet-
ter things to do than to stand around trying to
convince him. As far as I was concerned, skate-
boarding had gone to hell and would never be
the same. (Of course I had no way of knowing
the real thang would rise again almost twenty
years later.) Besides, it was about that time I dis-
covered girls and found out that I'd been carrying
my own personal entertainment center around in
my pants for years and not even knowing it.
In a way, since then, I always find myself com-
paring everything good in life with going down

be able to roll because the wheels are so small.

of sucks bad. Sheffey: People will take the
technical stuff and do it on a railing. It is only going
to get gnarlier. Evans: A combination of the techni-
cal stuff and the stuntman action. Hensley: It is
kind of slow right now but it is going to get faster.
Kepper: Super technical whippity action. Cardiel:
Nobody will grab their boards in the future, it will all
just be board control. Petersen: I hope it isn't more
freestyle, because if it is they should get square
wheels so they can stay in one spot.
