BILL ATKINSON
"Live fast but don't die young" is Bill's motto. Mashing into his
fifth year of radical progression, he says they've been the best
of his life. At seventeen years old, this Raritan, NJ, local
admires the styles of Mike Kepper, Derek Ranaldi, Joe Dorsi,
Morgan, Bill Quinn and Sean Balke. He digs the sounds of Ice
Cube, Vision, Split Image, Bad Religion and Sheer Terror. Pizza
pie with extra mozzarella is his main bill of fare and
"believe in yourself" is what he advises.
MORGAN TUNNEY
Long lipslides, slappies, big ollies and burly maneuvers make
up Morgan's bag o' tricks. He doesn't like to skate fast, he
likes to skate real fast. Hard D.C. tunes like Fugazi, Embrace
and Minor Threat pump his tires and lan Roelly, Julien
Stranger, Gonz, Vellety, Derek Rinaldi and Mike Kepper fuel
his carburetor. At nineteen, Morgan plans to keep on riding
as long as his body holds out, and maybe a little longer.
"Just skate fast and do your own thing," he says.
