JAKE PIASECKI-
If you're talking serious
vert-body jars, backside airs,
burly grinds, etc.-Jake is more
than ready to throw it down.
After five years of furious
furious
flailing, this nin
this nineteen-year-old
Hermosa Beach boy is primed to
follow in the footsteps of his
favorites: Miller, Hosoi, Hawk
and Joe from L.A. He'll listen to
whatever tunes you crank, he'll
eat whatever he has money for
and, no matter what, he'll have
fun skating. Jake is a straight-
up guy who'll be happy as long
as he can keep skating, and even
happier if he can pull fat airs
over ten feet and some day make
a McTwist.

MARK JONES
This fifteen-year-old lad from
Marietta, Georgia, already has
three years of heavy skating
under his belt, and he plans to
continue for as long as hu-
manly possible. Why? Because it's
groovy! Inspired by the likes of
Howell and
and Tony Haw
Hawk,
Mark will bust an ollie grab or a
lip trick on any ramp or
obstacle in sight. If the music's
loud and the food is fast, you
can bet Mark will be stoked
enough to achieve his goal in
life: to skate forever. Espe-
cially if Wes Wright is
standing wright there.
