CESS SLIDE 50/50-TO-LIPSLIDE
by Eric Nash
Before learning this trick, get the
basics of cess slide 50/50's dialed
1. Approach the lip frontside, then,
by sliding the tail around, lock both
trucks onto the coping in a back-
wards 50/50 grind.
2. Once you're in a cess slide 50/50,
apply pressure on your tail while
pushing your rear wheels over the lip
and into the lipslide position.
3. The key to this stage of the trick is
not to over-rotate your shoulders. If
you do, there's a good chance that
you could slam your back to the
Masonite.
4. Shift your weight to your front
truck and lift up your rear wheels.
5. Make sure your rear truck clears
the coping and cruise down the
transition.
FRONTSIDE SMITH
GRIND-TO-LIPSLIDE
by Chris Robison
1. Begin the trick with a standard
frontside Smith grind upon the lip.
2. Keeping your weight centered,
push your rear truck over the lip and
adjust yourself into a lipslide position.
3. Now glide across the coping and
begin to think about re-entry.
4. Shift your weight to the front truck
and lift up your tail so that you don't
hang up your back truck.
5. Charge down the transition and
into the next maneuver.
