Once again the boys at the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house in San Luis Obispo, CA, pulled out all the stops and
hosted the sixth annual Thrash-A-Thon to raise money for the American Cancer Society. And raise money they did-two-
thousand four hundred big ones to be exact, in a non-stop seventy-two hour roll-o-rama that left many sore and many others
craving more. The golden Tums award went to brother Ryan Iwanaga, who organized the whole shebang with a little help
from his friends (Central Coast Surfboards, radio station KPGA, assorted pizza and submarine sandwich joints and Small.
Room Skateboards, to name a few). Former Page Mill ramp

was time to pack everything in. Fortunately,
the boys had designed the ramp in three port-
able sections, so it was quickly dismantled
and moved to a nearby barn for storage. Un-
fortunately, they have nowhere to reassem-
ble the dang thing. Got any open ramp-ready
land in the San Luis Obispo area? Give Ryan
a call, maybe you can work something out.
Until next year, goodbye from Slo-Town.
