            CAMP
KELLY
hen the sport of snowboarding is
mentioned, thoughts of cold winter
air, waist deep powder, icy roads,
lengthy lift lines and hot cocoa often fill one's
mind. None of the above entered Todd Griffin's
consciousness during his stay at Craig Kelly's
World Snowboarding Camp. It was summertime
for Todd-no school, homework, or teachers-
and he was excited to get
away from his parents (and
vice versa). Todd had been a
snowboarding fanatic for the
past three years, his behavior.
at home was reasonable and
his grades were up to par, so
mom and dad had agreed to
send him to Craig's camp to
develop his skills. During the
second week of July, Todd
sent a letter home describing
his daily routine and some
specific camp experiences..
He was a happy camper...
Well, almost.
