            THRASH
A-
THON
Ryan Iwanaga and the guys at Cal Poly fraternity
Lambda Chi Alpha busted out with the fifth annual
Thrash-A-Thon on September 28-30. This non-stop skate
hazing was held to raise money for the American Cancer
Society. The roster of philanthropic pros and ams includ-
ed Cab. Neil, Flej, Bod, Lester, Fabriquer, Demain,
Prince and many more. Somebody had to be skating
at all times, so the wheelheads worked the 20'x50'x10'
structure during the day, while the Greeks commanded
the midnight transition missions. One iron-pumping
pigskin type reportedly claimed, "I've been hit by some
of the biggest guys in football, this ain't shit," before.
dropping in to a harsh tranny-denting slam. The event.
drew hordes of spectators and a media blitz (including
your dream-come true-MTV exposure). The end result.
was almost four thousand clams for cancer research.
