ugs Bunny always said, "You shoulda made a left turn at
Albuquerque!" What did he mean by that? Was he saying that it's
not worth stopping here? Then again, he could have been trying
to keep the masses out of town for as long as possible. It worked
for a while.
Now, those who have lived here for only two years, their
turquoise concho belt and Indian rug hanging up in their
Tramway condo, walk by stinking of arrogance, saying,
"Don't bother me, I know this place. I own it, punk."
Albuquerque is a friendly place, but don't push it. ►
