1 Approach the lip as you would fora lein-to-tail.
2. Grab the board and as you rise above the lip, start to take
your lead (front) foot off your board.
3 While you reach your peak height, kick your lead leg straight
down and raise your trailing (tail) leg for balance compensation.
4. Place your foot back onto your board, stay compressed, and
prepare to come in contact with the tip.
5. Smack the lip with your tail, let go of the nose, and descend

WRIGHTVILLE
-
An un-
pleasant discovery was made by
Tom White when he went to
open the offices of The Lloyd
Corporation Monday morning.
Vandals had been at work on
three sides of the building.
Shortly after the discovery of
the graffiti at Lloyd Corp. a call
came in from Mrs. E. Gay in the
selectmen's office that the
Town Hall had also been van-
dalized.
The Town Hall was not se-
verely defaced. Only two words
appeared on the building but
they were large and on the front.
In orange spray paint the words
"POWELL" and "PERALTA"
were spelled one above the
other.

(Continued from Page 1)
No one is sure what these
words mean.
One thing that is known is
that the vandalism of the Town.
Hall must have happened after
8 p.m. Sunday night.
At that time Currier was fin-
ishing watering the flowers in
the planters in the front of the
building
Later Currier added, "I tend to
think it was some guy who got
drunk and got carried away."
Currier also said in a small
town like Wrightville, it was
likely that the truth would
eventually come out.
What is most confusing to
him, Currier said, is the fact
that the writings don't make
sense. He would understand
simple obsceneties, but this
isn't the case here, he noted.
