BEANS 'N BEER
2 cups dry navy beans
1 lb. short ribs w/ the bone, cut in 1" pieces
Salt & pepper to taste
1 medium chopped onion
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup catsup
½ can of your favorite beer
OK, now this slop is gonna take awhile
to make, so you gotta do it way ahead of
time. Soak 'dem navy beans overnight. Pour
off that water in the morning and put fresh
water in, enough to cover the beans plus
2 inches. Boil the beans for a whole hour,
then pour 'em into a slow cooker, or a bean
pot and add the onion, the short ribs, brown
sugar, catsup, salt and pepper. Bake at 275°
for 7 hours. At 6½ hours, add the beer.
What's really good about this kind of
recipe is that it tastes better as leftovers.

COUP DE GRACE CHILI

¼ cup catsup
Get ready to die, suckers, cuz this just

make it hot with fire. Throw in the onion, then
break up the beef, heave that in and brown
it. Add all remaining crap. Cook over a low
heat and stir occasionally for about 20 or
30 minutes. Serve it hot to about four or five
slobs.
