Passersby
assersby gather, look-
ing on with wide-eyed amazement or curious stares.
Tireless board pilots caught in a continuous cycle.
Launching, lofting and, hopefully, landing.
The launch ramp. A new name. A new meaning to
a maturing idea. Big push assaults, Evel Knievel style,
catapulting daredevil crazies into flyaway antics.
Mind-blowing rocket air variations, judo-kicks, 360°
airs, frontside tweak airs, mute airs, wrap arounds,
nose bones, severely tweaked methods, knee-ons,
over-head ollies travelling distances of twelve feet and
the ever-popular big airs lofting over cars. Freak
ramps. Unsuspicious mini-structures shoved against
large walls, providing a bit of navigable transition
to elevate, ascending heights unknown. Fleeting front-
side high-compressed madness. A date with destiny
in the form of a no-transition slam landing at ground
zero. A whole new realm of, until recently, untapped
riding terrain.
