PUSZYNE
Lines slither across a rectangular
tube, flickering colors into shapes,
moving consistantly, each band
sparking à vivid glow. Action fills the
screen, forming streaks and bringing
two motions into one. The audience
stares inward with hypnotic enthu-
piasm at the lunging figures, seem-
ingly inside this two-dimensional
glass arena. They are unaware of
the peril at hand. Faster than the
click of a shutter the figures reach
out to the audience. Their hands ma-
terialize upon entering the atmos-
phere, stretching into the deadpan
stares and switching forms with the
entranced viewers, who are ether-
ally absorbed into the glass screen
and imprisoned, to be watched as
those before them. The new visitors
to the three-dimensional world show
dissatisfaction with their familiar en-
tertainment and shut down the elec-
trical lines horizontally screeching
across the glass prison. The visitor
eyes the loose-fitting cotton shirt
embracing its new figure with a silk-
screened image, boldly announcing

southern California area who charge
thru the speaker walls with a solid
robust feeling of energetic momen-

bust at this sort of surveying strength
that Unity churn outward. With a
steadfast howler of a vocalist at the
helm, the melodies are harmonious,
keeping a rapid tempo in high gear,
song after song, adding changes
without losing the structure. Unity
feature a pulsating drum beat con-
tinually hammering the big sonic

whining guitar sound quickly licking

an inertia of feverous action that

FAITH NO MORE
We Care A Lot
Mordam Records
To put it bluntly and positively, I
hate rap music, or most usually, any
thing that resembles rap music. Just
can't stand the shit. But, like every
thing else, there are some exceptions
to the bad. Faith No More is such
an exception. Their style somewhat
resembles the "Boom-swoosh, boom-
swoosh, blabba-blabba-blabba" of
many of the rap (or whatever they
want to be called) bands of today,
but still the style in which they exe-
cute their material makes it all very

styles similar to Echo and the
